Ankara Development Agency Takes Part in Invest-Up Ankara 2026 as an Ecosystem Partner

Ankara Development Agency participated as an Ecosystem Partner in Invest-Up Ankara 2026, one of the key gatherings of the entrepreneurship, investment, and technology ecosystem. Held at Ankara TEKMER on 18 September 2026, the event focused on the current state of Türkiye’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and the areas of transformation expected to shape its development in the coming period.

One of the highlights of the event was a session featuring Zekeriya Coştu, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology. The discussion addressed the positioning of the Tech Entrepreneurship Council (Teknogirişim Konseyi) as an effective mechanism connecting the public sector with the technology entrepreneurship ecosystem, the importance of ensuring that regulations and support mechanisms respond to the needs of the ecosystem, and the role of public policies in creating a leverage effect beyond merely accelerating the growth of startups.

Within the framework of the new approach shaped with the contributions of the Ministry and relevant public institutions, developments concerning the more effective use of TechVisa, vertical funds, growth funds, and public support mechanisms across the ecosystem were discussed. Particular emphasis was placed on the role of public resources at the early stage and on developing financing mechanisms that support the scaling of startups.

The programme also featured sessions entitled “The Ecosystem through Data,” “The New Architecture of Power: Digital Hegemony,” “CVC and Strategic Investments,” “Growth and Globalisation from the Entrepreneur’s Perspective,” “Series A Investment,” and “The Gaming Ecosystem and Investment.”

The event highlighted the need for Türkiye’s technology ecosystem to shift from an input- and support-oriented approach towards a structure focused on outputs, performance, and impact, to strengthen collaboration among universities, startups, investors, and corporations, and to support the emergence of new scalable ventures in advanced technology fields.
