Ankara Holds Evaluation Meeting with Cooperatives as Part of Branding Initiatives
As part of the branding initiatives for the "ANKARA’DAN" brand—led by the Ankara Development Agency—an evaluation meeting was held with cooperatives operating across various districts of Ankara that focus on women's entrepreneurship, agricultural development, and production.
Representatives from ten cooperatives attended the meeting. During the session, information was shared regarding the shared corporate identity, product selection, gift box concepts, packaging style, and product storytelling approach developed under the "ANKARA’DAN" brand. Assessments were also conducted concerning the cooperatives' existing products, production capacities, packaging requirements, and corporate sales processes.
The aim is to establish a unified umbrella brand under the name "ANKARA’DAN" that highlights Ankara’s rural heritage, local production culture, women’s labor, and cooperative solidarity. In this context, collaborations are being conducted with a total of 25 cooperatives from various districts of Ankara, with products categorized under the headings of Table & Field, Wellness & Nature, Handicrafts & Textiles, and Lifestyle & Décor.
Examples of "ANKARA’DAN" gift boxes—developed as one of the initiative's first tangible outputs—were also evaluated during the meeting. Plans are in place to distribute these gift boxes to institutions for promotional purposes, showcasing local products, the stories of the producers, and women’s labor through a contemporary presentation style.
