Cooperatives Get Stronger with Agency Support

Within the scope of the Social Economy Financial Support Program with the Focus of Sustainable Development Goals (2022), the signature was signed for the project titled “Ovine Milk Industrializes in Ayaş, Traditional Tastes Revive” by the Limited Liability Ayas Agricultural Development Cooperative. The contract was signed on April 12, 2023 by Mustafa Hafız Ağa YÖRÜK, Chairman of the Limited Liability Ayas Agricultural Development Cooperative and Ankara Development Agency General Secretary Dr. Cahit ÇELİK.

With the project, in the sustainable development-based and local-specific goat milk production activities in the Ayaş district of Ankara; It is aimed to increase production with a focus on social innovation, to switch to technology-based production systems in line with sustainable development goals, and to contribute to social innovation with innovative products. With the project, activities will be carried out to develop cooperatives in the district and to transform products produced by traditional methods into high value-added products.
