The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) Programme is an international exchange programme that aims to enable aspiring entrepreneurs to develop their knowledge and skills by collaborating with experienced entrepreneurs in Europe. We are pleased to share with you the exchange story of Mustafa Yılmazyiğit, one of the entrepreneurs who successfully completed this programme, in which the Ankara Development Agency participated as an intermediary organisation.
As part of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) Programme, Mustafa Yılmazyiğit participated in an exchange in Italy with experienced entrepreneur Diego Bucci, facilitated by the Ankara Development Agency. During the exchange, he had the opportunity to further develop his business idea in the fields of sustainability and ecological monitoring.

What Is Mustafa Yılmazyiğit’s Business Idea?
Mustafa Yılmazyiğit aims to develop a sustainability-focused consultancy and ecological monitoring venture in Türkiye. The venture aims to provide GIS and remote sensing, environmental data collection, and ecological monitoring services, with tailored solutions particularly for regenerative agriculture businesses, local institutions, and private clients.
Results and Benefits Achieved Through the Exchange Programme
During the exchange period from 27 July to 8 September 2026, Mustafa Yılmazyiğit:
Gained hands-on experience in fieldwork and ecological monitoring.
Analysed environmental data and produced maps using GIS and remote-sensing tools.
Developed communication and client-reporting materials.
Conducted collaborative project development activities in regenerative agriculture and sustainability.
Prepared a business plan covering the venture’s target customer groups, services, and financial roadmap.
Activities Carried Out During the Exchange
During the first two weeks, fieldwork, GIS mapping, and ecological monitoring activities were carried out. The third and fourth weeks focused on communication activities, social media content development, and the exploration of funding opportunities. During the final two weeks, the business plan was completed and presented to Diego Bucci, and a roadmap was developed for future international collaborations.
Mustafa Yılmazyiğit’s Next Steps
Following his EYE experience, Mustafa Yılmaz Yiğit aims to complete the establishment and operational setup of his venture in Türkiye and launch services in regenerative agriculture consultancy, ecological monitoring, and GIS. He also plans to develop the project ideas created with Diego Bucci into applications for European Union funding opportunities and to build new collaborations through the international connections he established in Italy.
