Supply Chain Localization Program was Carried out with Abdi İbrahim Company

Supply chain localization module was put into service. The “Supply Chain Localization Module” was put into use on the yatirimadestek.gov.tr platform, which enables the products imported by buyer companies to be produced with domestic resources. This platform aims to bring together the demands of our buyer companies to localize the products and services they currently supply from abroad with domestic suppliers.

Localization program was carried out first with Arçelik on April 12 and for the second time with Vodafone on April 13.

In this context, together with our 26 development agencies under the coordination of Ankara Development Agency, the third supply chain localization announcement was made with Abdi İbrahim medicine company. Companies made their applications via yatirimadestek.gov.tr platform in order to examine the products/works requested by Abdi İbrahim and to meet their supply needs.

Announcements were done for 19 items of Abdi İbrahim. 8 applications were made to Abdi İbrahim. An online meeting event was held on June 15th. Abdi İbrahim's purchasing, procurement and corporate communication department officials took part in the online meeting. Our Agency Investment Support Office unit coordinated the meeting.

Ankara Development Agency General Secretary Dr. Cahit Çelik stated that the supply chain localization module has been nationalized and put into use. He said that the process continues under the coordination of our Agency and that they play an encouraging role in terms of announcements and applications from other agencies.

Ahmet Şimşek, Deputy Director General of Development Agencies of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, said that,  yatırımadestek.gov.tr  platform has become a frequently used website. He stated that more than 2,000 questions have been answered to date and the number of clicks on the site has exceeded 1 million. He explained that a new module has been added to the Yatırımadestek platform and that this new module, called supply chain localization, has received great interest from corporate companies, organizations and SMEs.

Companies called Doruk Analitik, Pivasis, Keşif, Argeline and Milvus Robotics held meetings with Abdi İbrahim officials online between 14:00 and 16:00.

The supply chain localization application screen with Abdi İbrahim is still open and applications are still being received. A meeting event will be held again in the coming period.
