Third Phase of the Disability and Elderly Care Companion Training Program Completed
The third phase of the Disability and Elderly Care Companion Training Program, carried out in cooperation with the Ankara Development Agency, the Ankara Provincial Directorate of Health and the Federation of All Accessible Associations of Persons with Disabilities (TEEDF), was concluded with a closing and certificate presentation ceremony hosted by the Association for Children with Cerebral Palsy (SERÇEV).
Under the program, which aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of caregivers supporting persons with disabilities, patients and the elderly, to improve the quality of care services, and to build a qualified workforce in this field, 50 trainees who successfully completed their training became entitled to receive certified training documents via the e-Government (e-Devlet) Gateway.
The closing program highlighted the importance of inter-institutional cooperation in improving the quality of life of groups requiring special policies, while also addressing the Ankara Development Agency’s work in the field of social development and its collaborations with SERÇEV.
Operating under the coordination of the General Directorate of Development Agencies of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ankara Development Agency continues its efforts to strengthen social development, improve the quality of life of disadvantaged groups, and transform inter-institutional cooperation into tangible and sustainable social benefit.
The program concluded with a closing ceremony attended by representatives of stakeholder institutions, during which certificates were presented to the trainees who successfully completed the training.
