Agency Support to Child Friendly Hospital

Within the scope of the Social Economy Financial Support Program Focusing on Sustainable Development Goals (2022), the signatures were signed for the project titled "Transformation of Ankara Bilkent City Hospital Children's Hospital into a Child Friendly Hospital Project" of the Ministry of Health Ankara City Hospital. The contract was signed on April 25, 2023 by the Coordinator Chief Physician Op.Dr. Aziz Ahmet SUREL and Ankara Development Agency Secretary General Dr. Cahit ÇELİK.

The project aims to improve the quality and efficiency of the service provided in the blood collection unit by effectively managing the pain and fear experienced by sick children between the ages of 0-18 who apply to Ankara Bilkent City Hospital Children's Hospital before and during the blood collection procedure. In this context, the blood collection units at the Children's Hospital will be transformed to be suitable for children, the fear of blood collection will be reduced and children's reactions to medical procedures will be reduced. The transformation of the pediatric blood collection unit will improve the quality and efficiency of the health services provided.
