Foreign Trade Intelligence Center Established in İvedik OSB with Agency Support
By contributing to the increasing export values of Ankara, structures where companies can receive the commercial intelligence services they need are established by our Agency. Under the coordination of the investment support office, first of all, the personnel working in the commercial intelligence centers were given 10 days of theoretical training and 30 days of practical training on selecting target customers in the field of commercial intelligence, identifying potential target countries, and identifying current buyers in countries. Commercial intelligence reports are prepared and presented to companies at the centers being established. According to the intelligence data determined in the commercial intelligence reports, the foreign trade personnel of the companies will be able to export their products and services by contacting the buyers of the relevant country.
Foreign trade intelligence software was procured to be used in the centers in order to conduct foreign trade intelligence, and a foreign trade intelligence portal was established for companies to apply. In order for companies to apply to commercial intelligence centers, they must use the foreign trade intelligence portal. After matching with the relevant expert, as a result of face-to-face or online interviews, the intelligence expert will share the relevant country data with the company after performing his intelligence.
Ankara Development Agency General Secretary Dr. Cahit Çelik said that the foreign trade intelligence centers of ASO, ATO and Başkent OSB, which they opened in September, are continuing their activities. He stated that they are opening the foreign trade intelligence center in İvedik OSB. He stated that after the applications made through the foreign trade intelligence portal, the information determined by the commercial intelligence work by the personnel working in the foreign trade intelligence center will be made available to the applicant companies.
İvedik OIZ Regional Manager Fatih Öztepe announced that the foreign trade intelligence center, which was established with the support of the Agency, was opened to the use of industrialists. Stating that the applicant companies have an opportunity especially for companies that want to export, he said that he believed that the service to be provided in the foreign trade intelligence center opened in İvedik OSB would be beneficial for the companies to open up to the foreign market.
