Supply Chain Localization Event With General Directorate Of State Airports Authority
The list of products requested to be localized by DHMI Electronics Department and DHMI Operations Department Machinery Directorate is as follows:
- Tire Tread Removal Machine and Spare Parts
- Snow Fighting Vehicles and Spare Parts
- Snow Blowers and Spare Parts
- Baggage Handling Systems, Spare Parts and Software
- De-icing Liquid Spreader and Spare Parts
- ATC Software
- Radar System Components
The supply chain localization announcement for the 7 products mentioned above was made in June and applications were received. On Thursday, July 27, between 13:30-17:30, a supply chain indigenization event was held with DHMI. For 7 products, 14 companies applied to the supply chain localization announcement via the yatırımadestek platform. As a result of the evaluation, 11 companies were invited to the supply chain localization event.
Microina Elektronik, CTECH, Başarı, Kuantek, BMS, Roms, Kıroğlu, Agena, Arge Tekno, Tedsan, Asartech, Neksan and DB Mars companies participated in the supply chain localization meeting with DHMI.
Microina, CTECH, Asartech and Kuantek companies applied in the radar system component category; Başarı and Roms companies applied in the baggage handling systems, spare parts and software component category; Agena, Arge Tekno and DB Mars companies applied in the ATC software category; Kıroğlu company applied in the tire tread wiping machine and spare parts, snow fighting and spraying vehicles and spare parts category; and BMS company applied in the snow spraying vehicles and spare parts category. First of all, face-to-face interviews will be held between 13:30-15:30. Afterwards, zoom meeting continued between 15:30-17:30.
Under the coordination of the General Directorate of Development Agencies, the supply chain localization announcement was nationalized by moving to the yatırımadestek platform. Three companies from Ankara, three companies from Istanbul, four companies from Nevşehir and one company from Kocaeli participated in the event.
Ankara Development Agency Secretary General Cahit Çelik stated that the supply chain localization activity has become national. He said that the supply chain localization module published on the yatırımadestek website contributes to the increase in advanced technology production and is an important interface for corporate organizations to meet their supply needs with domestic solutions.
Orhan Gültekin, Head of DHMI Electronics Department, stated that they want to increase the localization rates in aviation and ground services. He expressed their satisfaction for organizing the supply chain localization together with Ankara Development Agency.
