TechAnkara Defense Industry Accelerator Program Trainings were Given
The "TechAnkara Defense Industry Accelerator Program", designed for the first time by our agency in order to contribute to the goal of increasing the institutional capacity of companies operating in the defense industry or wishing to transition into this sector, was launched with an innovative approach. With the Defense Industry Accelerator Program, which is carried out under the coordination of the Investment Support Office, it is aimed to come to the fore in the field of defense, aerospace and space, which is one of the priority sectors of the region.
As part of the TechAnkara Defense Industry Accelerator Program, AS 9100 KYS (Quality Management System) Information and Internal Auditor Trainings were held for 4 days. AS9100 Quality Management System, which is the Aerospace and Defense System standard, was explained within the scope of the training. The relevant standard specifies the "Quality Management System" required for certification and implementation by organizations that design, develop and manufacture aviation products. Regarding the AS9100 Rev D (2016) Quality Management System (KYS) requirements of companies and entrepreneurs operating in the fields of aviation, space and defense in Ankara; The information they need to understand, develop, implement and audit the quality management system is conveyed through AS9100 standard information and internal auditor trainings.
Ankara Development Agency General Secretary Dr. Cahit Çelik stated that after the trainings given to 40 companies in the accelerator program, mentoring service will be provided to 30 companies in total, with this service, the analysis of the AS9100 KYS System of the companies, the conditions that the company should do for internal auditing, explaining with on-site visits and understanding the capability and capabilities of the entrepreneur's product/service. He stated that it was intended to provide the necessary guidance.
At the end of the program, participation certificates were presented to the participants who regularly attended the training. Mentoring service will be given to 30 companies that will be selected among the companies that pass the exam at the end of the training, and the process will be completed in June.
