Türksat & Ankaraka Orbit Entrepreneurship Program Mentor Training Starts

Ankara Development Agency continues its inter-institutional collaborations for the transfer of knowledge and experience, which consists of TechAnkara mentoring programs, entrepreneurship programs, accelerator programs and project bazaar. In this context, an Orbit Entrepreneurship Program protocol was signed between Türksat and Ankaraka in April.

Within the scope of the protocol, the Orbit Entrepreneurship Program Mentor Training Training between Ankaraka and Türksat will start as of May 26. 50 expert personnel working at Türksat will be provided with the necessary equipment and become mentors. In this context, the knowledge of Türksat employees, who are mentor candidates, in terms of providing mentoring services, will be increased with the trainings to be given by expert trainers/sector veterans. In this way, Türksat mentors, who will be able to mentor in the TechAnkara Technology Commercialization Mentoring Program and the TechAnkara Digital Project Market Commercialization Program, will increase their knowledge and equipment to facilitate the commercialization of young entrepreneurs' products and services.

Within the scope of the trainings, to ensure that Türksat personnel first become mentors so that they can transfer their professional knowledge, and within the scope of mentoring service, especially mobility, space, aviation, satellite, communication systems, electronics, software, etc. It is aimed to ensure that they become mentor candidates in order to transfer the knowledge they have in their own fields to the entrepreneurs and to contribute to the commercialization of the products and services of the entrepreneurs.

In the first place, entrepreneurship training will be given online to 1000 personnel working at Türksat.

In the second stage, face-to-face trainings will be given to 50 competent personnel selected from among Türksat personnel who are willing to be mentors.

The face-to-face trainings will last for 5 days and are in the following topics.

• Financial Literacy Education
• Legal Literacy Education
• Technological Literacy Education
• Teaming Training
• Business Development Training
• Sales & Marketing Training
• Commercialization Training
• Business Plan and Applied Business Plan Preparation Training

In the third stage, it is aimed to design a special entrepreneurship program, organize hackathon and ideathon and provide mentorship services to entrepreneurs under the coordination of our Agency's Investment Support Office and in cooperation with Türksat Corporate Communications Directorate.
