Visit to our Agency from the Embassy of the Republic of Finland

Embassy Commercial Counselor Joona Selin and Senior Communication and Economic Policy Officer Esra Demirci Akyol visited Ankara Development Agency Deputy Secretary General Emine Doğrukök and received information about possible collaborations and Ankara's investment environment.

Within the framework of our Agency's 2024 work program, they were contacted by the Embassy of the Republic of Finland and invited to our Agency in order to introduce our agency and exchange ideas about cooperation opportunities that can be realized through embassies. In this context, development agencies and the work they do were explained to the visiting delegation, followed by a presentation of the Ankara investment environment and summary information about attractive investment opportunities, incentives and supports in Turkey and Ankara.

During the meeting, in which mutual agreement was reached on the need to improve the trade volume, views were exchanged on the point of joint action in the OIZ and Technocity visits to be held in order to increase investments and stimulate trade between the two countries, and it was stated that our Agency would be pleased to accompany the embassy representatives at these points. It was also decided that support could be received from our Agency for B2B meetings held at the Embassy. The meeting ended with the gift presentation by Deputy Secretary General Emine Doğrukök.
