2024 State Support Information Meeting and Ankaraka-OSTİM Business Forum Held

A two-day state support information meeting was held on 21-22 February 2024, under the coordination of Ankara Development Agency, in cooperation and hosted by OSTİM Technical University and OSTİM Teknopark OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Directorate.

Speaking at the opening of the information meeting, OSTİM OSB Chairman of the Board of Directors and OSTİM Technical University Board of Trustees Chairman Orhan AYDIN said; Expressing their satisfaction for hosting this event, he stated that SMEs and industrialists, in particular, often have difficulty in accessing the right support. He underlined that such a comprehensive event will be effective in preventing such confusion and guiding investors.

OSTİM Technical University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Serdar Müldür in his opening speeches; Underlining that the university-industry cooperation model in OSTİM is a suitable model for Turkey, the Public-University-Industry (KÜSİ) cooperation model is being developed by adding public cooperation through such events. They expressed their pleasure to be present as a technical table and forum in the foyer area as the University this year.

Also speaking at the opening, Ankara Development Agency Investment Support Office Coordinator Erdem KOÇOĞLU expressed their satisfaction for organizing the state supports information meeting, which has become a traditional activity of the Agency, in cooperation with OSTİM Technical University and OSTİM Teknopark. KOÇOĞLU; He stated that, as the Investment Support Office, they direct investors and entrepreneurs to government supports in accordance with their mission. Representatives of institutions and organizations, especially those invited to make presentations at this event, will make presentations about the most frequently asked and curious support, incentives and loans from our office. The event continued under the moderation of Investment Support Office Specialist Ahmet ARVAS.

Within the scope of the event, Ministry of Industry and Technology - General Directorate of Incentive Implementation and Foreign Capital, Ministry of Industry and Technology - General Directorate of R&D Incentives, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry - Ankara Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Ministry of Commerce - General Directorate of Export, National Agency, Presentations about the support programs, loans and incentives carried out by KOSGEB, TKDK, SGK and TÜBİTAK were made by representatives of the relevant institutions.

At the meeting; While detailed information was given about the supports of public institutions, the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the experts of public institutions, OSTİM Technical University academicians and Technology Transfer Office experts was also offered about university-industry projects from production to marketing, R&D and P&D.

There was intense application and participation in the information meeting held in the OSTİM OSB Conference Hall. At the meeting, where approximately 300 people physically participated and an average of 110 people watched live on the OSTİM OSB YouTube channel, 20 institution representatives from 13 different institutions made presentations. In addition, the presentations at the event (only those with permission to share) are also available as video recordings on the same YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@OSTIMOSB1967). At the end of the presentations, the questions asked by the participants were answered and the most up-to-date information about support, incentives, exceptions and loans was shared.
